“The first IRONMAN race represents everything that our company strives to embody – innovation, a fearless spirit and a drive to push past perceived limitations,” said Andrew Messick, President and Chief Executive Officer of IRONMAN.

To mark the 40th anniversary of this iconic brand, we wanted to create a tribute that honored both the legacy of the race and the spirit of IRONMAN athletes. Completing an IRONMAN is born from a dream, and we aimed to celebrate the decades of athletes who have turned that dream into reality. Drawing inspiration from the unique essence of Kona and incorporating design elements from the '70s, we blended the past with the present to create something truly special and reflective of the race’s rich history.
